About the BYD Seal
Built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0, the Seal combines a sleek fastback silhouette with class-leading technology. The vehicle-to-load (V2L) function means the Seal can power external appliances — a first in its segment.

- Standard Range RWD — 150 kW, 0–100 km/h in 5.9 seconds, 550 km NEDC range
- Long Range AWD — 390 kW combined, 0–100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, 700 km NEDC range
Blade Battery Safety
The Seal uses BYD's proprietary Blade Battery, which has passed the nail penetration test — the most rigorous EV battery safety benchmark — without catching fire or exploding.
